The main advantage and key point of MD04 Series TECs is high density pellets placement. The distance between pellets is reduced twice if to compare with other TEC Series. This makes it able to fit about 60% more pellets in the same TEC size as standard Series.

Also the high density pellets placement technology open a way to manufacture very miniature TECs for applications where high cooling power and small dimensions are required, for instance Cooled TOSA.

MD04 Series TECs are based on 0.4x0.4mm2 pellet cross-section. Single- and Multistage types are available. Each has five different height/performance options.
