Thermoelectric coolers of MD02 Series are the smallest TECs in our range with main a focus on cooled TOSA applications.  Due to ultra-small cross-section of internal BiTe elements 1MD02 TECs have very low operating current, which is optimal for TO-can TOSA.  SuperHD assembly technology and high-quality bulk BiTe material provide a perfect ultra-compact TEC solution with advanced cooling performance.  All thermoelectric coolers are assembled using RoHS compliant Sn-Sb solder with a melting temperature Tmelt=230ºC.  Thermoelectric coolers of MD02 Series all meet Telcordia GR-486 standard requirements.  Wide range of TEC manufacturing options is available.  The standard and most common single-stage types from our MD02 Series are listed in the table below.  Detailed TEC drawings, 3D models, performance plots and estimations for particular application conditions are provided by request.

MD03 Series

Possible alternative to MD02 Series with similar thermoelectric cooler dimensions, but another current and voltage balance.  MD03 TECs may be more affordable alternative to MD02 Series (depending on application). Compact single-stage thermoelectric solutions for telecom industry, well balanced solutions by price-to-performance factor.

MD04 Series

HD Technology thermoelectric coolers with a range of types used in telecom industry.  Some of MD04 TECs are close by dimensions to MD02 Series, but have another operating current and voltage balance, usually with higher current and lower voltage comparing with MD02 TECs.
