Thermoelectric coolers of MDL06 Series are technically the dimensional analogs of ML06 Series, but have up to 100% higher cooling capacity on the same size. MDL06 TECs are optimized by shape and terminal connection methods for the standard DWDM packages like "Butterfly" 14pin or DIL. Additionally to default Al2O3 ceramics all MDL06 TECs can be manufactured on AlN ceramics for better temperature uniformity among TEC surface (optimal in case of direct mounting to TEC cold side without a separate optical bench). MDL06 TECs are assembled with HD pellets placement technology using RoHS compliant Sn-Sb solder with a melting temperature Tmelt=230ºC. Thermoelectric coolers of MDL06 Series meet Telcordia GR-486 standard requirements. Wide range of TEC manufacturing options is available. The standard and most common MDL06 Series TECs on Al2O3 (0.5mm) ceramics are listed in the table below. Detailed TEC drawings, 3D models, performance plots and estimations for particular application conditions are provided by request.
