Two-stage
TE Coolers
The two-stage thermoelectric modules of the 2MC10 series are among the largest TE coolers in our range (according to miniature TECs standards). Based on classic, time-tested technology and made from high-quality materials, these thermoelectric coolers offer high reliability and cooling performance. These TEcs are an excellent choice for applications where thermal loads are high and deep cooling of the object is required. The MC10 Series two-stage thermoelectric coolers are ideal for cooling CCDs, CMOS sensors, IR and X-ray detectors, and optical components, and are ideal for scientific projects in electron microscopy and vacuum cooling applications. In addition, our 2MC10 series thermoelectric coolers have been successfully used in numerous space projects.
All thermoelectric coolers are assembled using RoHS compliant Sn-Sb solder with a melting temperature Tmelt=230ºC. Thermoelectric coolers of MC10 Series meet Telcordia GR-486 standard requirements. Wide range of TEC manufacturing options is available. The standard and most common two-stage types from our MC10 Series are listed in the table below. Detailed TEC drawings, 3D models, performance plots and estimations for particular application conditions are provided by request.
